Let’s get real for a second. You’re exhausted. Not the “I’ll-sleep-it-off-this-weekend” kind of tired, but more the “getting through each day is a marathon” kind.
And if you’re anything like I was, you’ve tried every quick fix under the sun, right? From: power naps, another cup of coffee, a third cup of coffee, a scroll through Instagram (other platforms are available) to “zone out” (just for a sec).
But what if I told you the answer was right where you’re sitting… or lying down? That’s right—your bed. And not just for sleep, but for a practice that helps you feel more alive: Bed Yoga.
When It All Started
There was a day, way back, when I was deep in my burnout. I had been in bed for days, so tired, yet unable to sleep. Still, I kept beating myself up, thinking I should do some yoga or something to help myself. But even the thought of rolling out a yoga mat seemed impossible. My body needed something, but I was just barely holding it together.
And then, it hit me, “Why not use the bed?”
So I did!
I moved gently, nothing like I had practised before, using pillows for support and letting myself rest. It was cosy, low-effort, and strangely…effective. 🤯
And that’s how Bed Yoga was born. I realised that, with a little intention, this soft practice could be a true game-changer.
What’s Bed Yoga, Exactly?
Imagine a yoga class where you’re lying in your cosiest pyjamas. Bed Yoga is a pre-sleep practice designed to help you unwind with simple, low-energy stretches that work with you, not against you.
No fancy poses, no props—well, pillows—and absolutely no pressure. We end each session with Yoga Nidra—a guided deep relaxation that leaves you ready to slip into sleep.

Exhaustion: More Than Just “Feeling Tired”
Burnout isn’t just about being “busy.” It’s that creeping weariness that leaves your body heavy, your mind foggy, and your patience gone. And for those dealing with chronic fatigue or fibromyalgia, it’s all of that and more, like moving through life with weights attached to every limb.It’s the kind of fatigue that even a full night’s sleep can’t always fix.
So, what do you do?
Bed Yoga is the opposite of the “push through it” mentality. This is about using what you have (your bed) and doing what you can (simple stretches) to reset. Think of it as your Restorative Power Practice for sustainable living.

Why I Teach It
When I started Bed Yoga, it was just for me—a way to bring some peace into my exhausted body and relentless mind. But when I started sharing it, I saw the same relief in others. Teaching Bed Yoga has become my way of saying, “Hey, it doesn’t have to be so hard.” After a few fun moments (like reminding everyone to start in the centre of the bed so no one rolls off!), it’s become a true favourite.
People tell me it’s their “one thing” that actually makes a difference in their day, and I love hearing that.
